We had a good reason, I promise! Last year for our 10th anniversary I looked like this...
Yep, that is me 9 months pregnant with sweet little Olivia. She was born just 10 days after this picture was taken. Very exciting, but did I feel much like celebrating? Not so much. Also, David had just graduated with his Bachelors degree so we were poor. Like totally. So we decided that this year we would celebrate like it was our 10th.
My sweet friend Marlayna offered to watch our kids over night so we could have a nice anniversary. I know, she is amazing!
We just went to Idaho Falls, but it was super relaxing and we had a fun time celebrating. We had a nice dinner and did some shopping that night and then the next morning we went to the farmers market and found some fun goodies. Most of all, we enjoyed spending time with each other and have uninterrupted conversations! I am so grateful for our marriage and this wonderful life we have created together. Saying "Yes" to David eleven years ago has been, by far, the best decision I have ever made.
